Hey parents! August is just around the corner – but DO NOT STRESS! Check out THE SUMMER BOOK® ONLINE: A GUIDE TO HOUSTON DAY CAMPS AND CLASSES FOR KIDS & TEENS – at – it’s the LARGEST and MOST ACCURATE guide in the city – I’ve been researching summer day camps since 2003 and I love finding cool camps for kids - I created it because I am a mom and I really needed something like this for my kids. There are over 200 camps to choose from so there’s at least one camp that’s perfect for every child! They can explore fencing, Mandarin Chinese, horseback riding, pottery, cooking, inventing, and much more! You can find camps by age group, area of town, subject matter, and much more! It’s so easy, you’ll love it. Be sure to check out my list of DROP-IN camps for those days you just need a small break.

I also created because I’m all about IGNITING LIVES (see why here) and exploring interests during the summer at camps are a great way for kids to do that.

Just like I love to PICK unique cultural weekend events in GISH PICKS: CURATED CULTURE FOR KIDS & ADULTS, I also love to make recommendations of summer camps and organizations that offer classes. Below is my curated list of camps that I want you to be sure you check out.

If you have any questions or would like a speaker to come and talk to your group about summertime family fun, please contact me. I’d love to help!
