GISH PICKS!

Hello dear GISH PICKS: CURATED CULTURE FOR KIDS & ADULTS reader!

Here is the latest round-up of my CAMP PICKS, featuring the best day camps in Houston. I want to make sure that you see 4 camps that are starting at the end of this month: both the Alley Theatre and the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft have ones starting on July 22, and on July 29, there is one presented by Camp Invention that’s taking place in Friendswood and one presented by The Spectrum Center that features writing for kids. All the details are below. And if you are still scheduling through August, doncha worry: I’ve got lots of camp info for you in my guide, DAY CAMPS HOUSTON, the LARGEST and MOST ACCURATE database in the city with over *200* camps!

I’ve been researching summer day camps since 2003 and love finding cool ones for kids. I’m all about IGNITING LIVES (see why here) and exploring interests through summer camps are a great way to do that. Searching for camps on DAY CAMPS HOUSTON is super easy: you can find camps by age group, area of town, subject matter, dates available, and much more! And, of course, you can search from anywhere – the carpool line, at work (shhh!), and while at the beach. It’s my online guide to getting your kids offline.

Happy searching – may you find much fun for you and your kids!

P.S. Want some cool summer fun ideas? Tune in to this helpful interview I did recently with Kim Weir of the “Sunday Night Live” show (click here to listen) and also my round up of SUMMER FUN IDEAS, here. Enjoy!
